Needle roller bearings provide high radial load capacity in a compact, space-saving design. Their long, slender rollers create a large contact area, making them well-suited for applications with limited radial space, such as transmissions, power tools, and industrial machinery. Available in a wide range of configurations, they balance load capacity, speed capability, and envelope constraints to meet specific application requirements. Needle thrust bearings are also available to support axial loads where space constraints rule out larger thrust bearing designs.
Caged designs support higher speeds; full-complement designs maximize load capacity at lower speeds.
Available with inner rings to protect unhardened shafts, or without inner rings for hardened shafts.
Thin-walled and heavy-duty options available for radial designs.
Must be paired with a separate radial bearing for complete shaft support.
